"Three Mile Bend" Record Launch Finally Set!!

Hey everyone!

We're proud to announce that we have finally set a date for our "Three Mile Bend" record release show.

Here's a little info on the album:

The album was recorded, mixed, and co-produced by Borza Ghomeshi in beautiful Morin-Heights.  We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Borza who has done work for Martha Wainwright, Emmylou Harris, Lauryn Hill, and so many other great artists.

The album was then mastered by Andy Vandette in New York City who has done work for Beastie Boys, Metric, and Rush to name a few!

There were many talented musicians who made this album possible and we would like to give a special shout out to Senja Sargeant, Marc Beland, and Matt Rousseau for their exceptional skills.

After so much hard work and being lucky enough to have worked with so many talented individuals the time has finally come for us to share it with you.

The album launch will be on January 16th, 2015 at Divan Orange (See event for details).

We're also proud to announce that we will be joined by local singer-songwriter Johnny Griffin of John Jacob Magistery!

This is our debut album and we're really excited to present it to all of you and can't wait for you to hear it.

Performing Bands:

Together, their voices harmonize effortlessly to form the cornerstone of their songwriting. The last step was to complete a full band lineup with Montreal natives Ben Massicotte (guitar), and Daniel Moscovitch (drums).

High and Mighty's debut EP (2016) is available on the band's Bandcamp site. A full album is in the works for later this year, and performance announcements will be rolling out shortly.

Maybe Greys "Three Mile Bend" is a deeply personal and emotive album about love, friendship, family, work, and oneself. Maybe Greys music could be described as indie-folk with a pop and light country influence with charismatic hooks and refrains, and a unique singing voice joined by infectious harmonies. The songs are mainly comprised of ballads and anthemic indie tunes that speak on a universal level of affection, autonomy, and our day-to-day moments of vexation.

Drawing directly from classic rhythm and blues and rock bands of the late 60’s early 70’s, the unwavering dedication to keep all of their influences heavily embedded in the sound is testament to the band's focus and authenticity.
